It is a pizza and donair shop. It's up half a flight of stairs. The best part of this place is that you can take the food to the Empress Pub. Very sketchy and and messy inside. Chinese staff. Funny how the place did not smell like pizza!?. The cheese donair was good with tomatoes and a few onions. The sweet sauce was awful. Fortunately they put it on the side. They need to get Tsazkiki sauce. However their pizza is very good with lots of toppings and at a good price. I've ordered pizza several times and loved it.

Well, I promised a dear friend that I would try Roadrunner again. This is his favourite Friday night pizza place. I trust him implicitly so off I went on Friday night to try his top recommendation: the bacon pizza. They have a medium or large 1-topping special for $8 or $10 respectively.
The place is still sketchy. I am not sure how but it may possibly be more so than it was the last time. It looked so grimy in the waiting area. The free newspaper on the counter was dated Oct 24, 2018. It was May 2019 when I wrote this!
As for the pizza, on the first bite, I wasn't that impressed. It was too hot and burned my mouth like no other. As it cooled, the flavours came out and I could see what my friend was getting at. The sauce was sweet with a little tang, the bacon was real slices cut into one-inch squares which made it chewy and quite unique for a pizza. The crust, at first, broke apart as I lifted it so I was a little worried but once it cooled, I found it had a nice texture and taste. Overall, it was oily but that just adds to the Friday night flavour.
I am torn. The donair was so bad it barely deserved one star. But the pizza, which is their bread and butter, was pretty good but what do I give it? It's probably four or five stars in my friend's book but I can't agree. I'm going to give Roadrunner the benefit of the doubt and hope no one EVER comes for a donair. Stick with the pizza - it's worth... three stars! -

Great and different pizza! Staff is friendly . A Vietnamese family owned business. I went in for 9.95 large pizza for pickup. Add 2 dollars for extra topping. Lots of more ingredients and cheaper compared to other pizza places! Recommended !

This place is great on weekends I'm up late and needing comfort food. The pizza is yummy, the lasagna $7.50 is delishous her sauce she makes is very good. Poutine also very tasty. I didn't care for the Donair or sauce myself or the dry ribs as I like bone in. It's a family owned business and I respect that. Don't expect to understand them ordering delivery but what you can expect is good food at reasonable price.

It's not good pizza and the lasagna is quite bad.
But guess what? At 1:00am, it's the best freakin food you've ever had.
The stay open until 3:00am on the weekends. They will deliver to your home, but not to your bar. (We have to walk over and pick it up then make sure the bar allows you to bring in food.)
They have counter seating for a few. You can sit and read the paper while you wait for your order. If you prefer to wait at the bar, they will phone you when your pick up order is ready.
I should probably order some different things from the menu before I assume all of their food is "meh".
